A lot of developers are impressed with themselves when they are able to encapsulate a lot of functionality in a single line of code. (even though the compiler might disagree with them on the one line of code part.)
However it is still pretty cool, and serves a a testiment to the advances in programming languages and compilers.
While impressive, I believe there is often a loss of fidelity when one strives for this sort of brevity.
