Mr. Atwood is another guy who would probably think, whiskey tango, what am I doing on a hero list. And again Hero may be a tad too much. But he should get props, if for nothing else, his stamina. His blog, the infamous Coding Horrors ( which has been in coninuous operation since 2004) provides invaluable insights into the science and business of Software Development. There are so many jewels in his dwelling on the follies and foibles in the profession. While all in good humor, there underlies a deadly seriousness to the topic at hand.
